KEEPING THE “FLAME” BURNING, THOUSAND FOOT KRUTCH GENERAL MARKET SINGLE LIGHTS UP RADIO WAVES
TFK’s Spring Off to a Great Start with JUNO/Dove Nominations, New Radio Singles, and Spring Tour Dates

TFK Seattle, WA…February 18, 2008 Following a successful fall with the release of The Flame In All Of Us, which produced the band’s eighth No. 1 Christian Rock single with “Falls Apart,” Tooth&Nail’s Thousand Foot Krutch continues the momentum with general market radio, recent JUNO and Dove nominations, and upcoming tour dates.

On February 5th the successful rock single “Falls Apart” was released to Active Rock/Alternative general market radio. The single is the first to be released to this format from the current TFK project. This marks the band’s third Active Rock/Alternative single following the breakout songs “Rawkfist” and “Move.” The radio stations have been highly receptive to the band once again with 18 adds after two weeks out of the box including AOL Radio, Sirius Octane, XM Squizz and more (stations listed below).

A huge supporter of the single, Peter Schiecke from AOL Music/ AOL Radio shares, “‘Falls Apart’ has been a huge testing record for me in 2007. I've played it in power rotation on AOL Radio's Xtreme Alt Rock station for around 4 months now. It's also already a recurrent on the Christian Rock station. I just expanded the airplay today on 2 of our other stations - Top Alternative + Alternative Mix - heavy rotation on both.”

Schiecke continues, “The overall listener score is a 9.17 out of 10. It's testing better than the latest singles from bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, Finger Eleven, Mudvayne, Serj Tankian, Godsmack, and Bullet For My Valentine. You've got a hit record on your hands.”

In addition to the general market single, Christian radio is behind the new Rock single and title track “The Flame in All of Us,” which debuted at No. 28 as the second most added at Rock and has climbed to No. 17 during the second week with most increased plays. The song “ Wish You Well” went for adds on February 15th at CHR as a follow-up to “What Do We Know.”

Amongst all the radio excitement, Thousand Foot Krutch’s recent studio project was nominated for a 2008 JUNO Award for Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year (http://www.junoawards.ca/08_nominees.php#2342). This is the band’s third JUNO Award nomination. Previous nominations included in the same category were for Phenomenon (2005) and The Art of Breaking (2006). The JUNO Award is part of the Canada Music Awards, which will celebrate the 37th anniversary this year being televised on April 6, 2008 in Canada.

Additionally TFK’s music video for “Falls Apart” was nominated for a Gospel Music Association Dove Award for “Short Form Music Video.” The Dove Awards will be live on Gospel Music Channel on April 23rd.

Gearing up for a rock n’ roll spring, Thousand Foot Krutch will head out on the road beginning March 27th with the Skillet Comatose Tour followed by appearances at all the major summer festivals. See below for the updated TFK Spring tour dates. Thousand Foot Krutch is comprised of Trevor McNevan, his childhood friend Joel Bruyere on bass guitar and Steve Augustine on drums. The Toronto, Canada natives have sold near a half-million copies to date of their albums Set It Off, Phenomenon, and The Art of Breaking. The band hit the musical scene with their 2003 Phenomenon album, which landed them six stellar No. 1 songs on rock radio and branched into mainstream radio with songs “Rawkfist” (Phenomenon) and “Move” (The Art of Breaking). It was “Rawkfist” that became the first great sports anthem of the 21st century being heard everywhere from sports stadiums to commercials (NHL, NFL and major league baseball, ESPN) to the WB’s Smallville. In 2007, Thousand Foot Krutch released their newest Tooth&Nail Records' studio project, The Flame in All of Us, which has received media acclaim saying the project "marks a bright new chapter for Thousand Foot Krutch." Flame has already produced the band's eighth No. 1 Rock hit for three straight weeks ("Falls Apart") in addition to the third Top 5 CHR hit ("What Do We Know").
